Become partner of the Hub!

Does your organisation or institute want to contribute to the development of the Hub and put subjects on the agenda itself? Then join us as a partner of the Hub and enjoy extra benefits. Partners pay an annual contribution (linked to the size of the organisation) and can call upon the support of the Hub.

Partner profile

Partners are institutions and organisations that:

Recognise themselves in the conception and development programme of the Hub
Doing oral history themselves (creating, collecting, preserving, teaching and/or presenting) or seriously considering it.
To consider the development of “Sprekende geschiedenis” as a national hub desirable and necessary.
Want to contribute to this themselves by:
1. Identifying/notifying/accessing relevant collections, research, projects, presentations and educational programmes
2. To work with the criteria and standards on digitisation and metadata to be developed by the Hub, in consultation with partners, to contribute to augmented data and further research opportunities.

Partnership benefits

The partners have the possibility to:

To call on the knowledge and experience of the staff of ‘Sprekende geschiedenis’ free of charge up to a maximum time investment of 10 hours per organisation per year.
Make use of the sample programmes, methods and training programmes developed by the Hub.
Participate in national conferences and study days at a reduced rate (50%).
To make a nomination to the Steering Committee.
Participate at least once a year in a partner consultation in which the direction and speed of development of the Hub are determined.
To put on the agenda workshops, expert meetings and example programmes in (sub) areas that are relevant to them.

Additional benefits

In addition, partners can:

Use of all the functions of the portal
Submit news, articles and collections for the portal and the other communication tools of the Hub.
Call on the expertise of staff (in addition to the 10 free hours) and on the pool of freelancers (interviewers, teachers, etc.) for a fee.

Rates per year

In order to give every organisation, big or small, a fair chance, the Focal Point uses a scaled fee structure. The fee is based on the size of the organisation.

Providing an annual financial contribution (€1000 for large organisations and institutions, €500 for medium-sized organisations and €200 for social initiatives), with a realistic prospect of funding phase 1.

The partners are willing to sign a partnership agreement for at least two years.
