The festival takes place from 23 to 26 September at four consecutive venues: the Forum in Groningen, the Tolhuistuin in Amsterdam, the Stadsschouwburg in Nijmegen and the Tivoli in Utrecht. The theme is: “Take me with you”, about the power of audio to take you to places you have never been or to stories you do not know yet.
Podcasts come in many different forms but in recent years we have seen a growth of podcasts that look for people’s stories. Of people who are no longer with us, but also of people you normally don’t hear.
Saturday 25 September the festival organises a panel discussion about Oral History and how podcast makers can make use of this.
