Introductory course in Oral History – Erfgoed Gelderland



Within the framework of Gelderland Herdenkt (Remembrance of Gelderland), Erfgoed Gelderland, Omroep Gelderland and Rijnbrink have again joined forces to organise last year’s ‘WW2 cafés’ in an alternative, digital manner. In preparation, Erfgoed Gelderland organised two basic oral history training courses for members of historical societies. During this digital training, participants learned about the basic principles of oral history. Topics covered included the usefulness of oral history, the difference between oral history and tradition, and the importance of recordings.
